Redditch Borough Council and Bromsgrove District Council are looking to fill a post in their busy shared service Financial Support Team. The post will be based across offices in Redditch and Bromsgrove.
The purpose of this role is to provide support and advice and identify opportunities, to help customers improve their financial independence, including processing Housing Benefits, Council Tax Support, Discretionary Housing Payments and Essential Living Fund Support claims.
If you have experience in a proactive Benefits environment, you are customer focussed, have experience of using a variety of ICT systems, a willingness to develop new and innovative working practices and a good general educational background which includes a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade A-C or equivalent including English and Mathematics; you may be the person for this role.
