We are looking for experienced and dedicated HGV Drivers to join our team at Roger Warnes Transport Ltd. As an HGV Driver, your role will be vital in safely and efficiently delivering goods to our clients. If you have a passion for driving, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills, this is an exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate HGV vehicles, following traffic laws, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Plan efficient routes considering traffic, road conditions, and customer requirements.
• Load and unload responsibly and safely.
• Perform regular walk round inspections on the HGV vehicle and trailer.
• Communicate effectively with the traffic team, providing updates on delivery progress.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and industry best practices for HGV driving, safety, and customer service.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, and other required documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating professionalism, courtesy, and respect.
• Report incidents, accidents, or vehicle faults immediately.

Requirements:

• Valid and clean HGV driving license.
• Flexibility in working hours, including long hours, weekends, and regular nights out.
• Positive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Benefits:

• Overtime after 50 hours weekdays and Saturdays
• Premium Rate for Sundays and Bank Holidays

• Annual holiday allowance is 28 days this is inclusive of ALL Bank Holidays
