Highway Engineer

Gain management and delivery experience with a highly regarded client organisation.

As a member of our clients' in-house engineering and management team, your main focus will be on developing and maintaining paving for an extensive operational site that also encompasses roads, bridges, drainage, buildings and specialist logistics facilities.

There will be some involvement in general civil engineering works and coordination with other in-house engineering disciplines and surveying colleagues.

Your role will include preparing specifications for new works and maintenance, the regular inspection of their varied paving assets and the implementation of their planned maintenance strategy.

You will work within a substantial engineering team, this provides access to expertise and professional guidance.

About you:
A degree qualified civil engineer, with a consulting engineering or contracting background. A demonstrable record of pavement engineering and an understanding of the materials used. You should have knowledge of the design manual for roads and bridges and be aware of CDM regulations.
