Pastoral and Welfare Officer / Head of Year

37 hours per week, 42 weeks per year

We are seeking a dedicated Pastoral and Welfare Officer to join our team at the University Collegiate School, Bolton. As a Pastoral and Welfare Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safeguarding and well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver interventions to support students facing challengesProvide counselling and mentoring to students in needAct as Head of Year overseeing the pastoral care of a specific year groupWork closely with staff and parents to address students' welfare concernsContribute to the development and implementation of welfare policies and procedures.Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a background in education or related field and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience is a similar role is desirable.
