We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Prep School Teacher to join our team of dynamic educators in our preparatory School. You will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and personal development of all our students.

About the Role and You

Contract type: Full-time.

Working pattern: 8:00am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: Up to 33k per annum (depends on experience)

Start date: September 2024

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:

Planning, Implementing and delivering lessons of an excellent standard to pupils in the class, enabling all pupils to benefit from the learning.Preparing lesson plans and learning materials to facilitate positive pupil development, as well as assessments that can accurately determine pupils progress and ways in which you can facilitate pupil development.Fostering a learning environment and educational structures that allow for a child to flourish as a 'whole person', not only in the academic sense.Continuing to develop and update the school curriculum, enabling your lessons to always adapt to needs of individual pupils or classes.About you

We are looking for someone who has:

QTS (essential).Experience in teaching, designing and implementing inspirational and engaging schemes of work.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with marking experience.Flexible, adaptable, and enthusiastic.Strong commitment to continued personal development.Why Join Sherrardswood School?
