My client are a fast growing renewable energy organisation based in Basingstoke. They are seeking a Legal Assistant to support their in-house legal team.

This is a full-time permanent role that will require 5 days a week within the office so candidates will need to live within a commutable distance to Basingstoke.

Role responsibilities:

HM Land Registry Searches, Title downloads and applicationsFacilitating signing of agreements including DocuSignSubmission of legal searchesLegal ResearchSupporting the development of standard legal documents and templatesAdmin Support -scanning, filing, binding, post etc.Assisting the Wayleave processAssisting with enquiries from other teams within the businessLiaising with external solicitorsSupporting team members with their projectsSwearing of Landlord and Tenant '54 Act Statutory Declarations on behalf of the CompanyDiary/Inbox Management Skills Required: Law degree or equivalent desired, but not essentialHigh level of personal integrity and driveAttention to detailTeam orientedExcellent written and spoken EnglishAble to work to deadlines, prioritise own workload effectively under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.Proactive and energetic with a tenacious approach to identifying issues and solving problems.Able to progress tasks using own initiative, seeking guidance and input from others where appropriateYou must hold a Full UK Driving License and access to a car Salary: £22,500.00 per year *Where a level of experience is indicated, this is a guideline only and represents the amount of time we would usually expect a candidate to accumulate the requisite level of experience. This does not preclude applications from candidates with more or less experience.
