The Company
Our client, is a successful operator in the hazardous and industrial sector, providing specialist services to the waste, power and heavy industry sectors. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to develop our South West region.
The Role
- As BDM you will develop and generate sales in the industrial waste services sector.
- As our Business Development Manager you will develop and secure new business across the South West.
- As our Business Development professional you will develop and build strong relationships to secure repeat business opportunities.
- You will maintain knowledge and awareness of market trends, customer trends, and the competitive environment.
- As BDM you will have autonomy for planning and managing your client base, ensuring regular face to face customer visits.
- Working on behalf and representing a corporate organisation you will be providing a full industrial services environmental solution.
The Ideal Candidate
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Business Development Manager across new business generation and account development.
- Ideally you will have experience from the industrial waste services sector, or waste management, drainage, sewage or environmental services sector.
- Working on behalf of a corporate organisation you will have exemplary presentation skills.
- This role requires a candidate who is decisive with strong negotiating and influencing skills.
- You will be an excellent relationship builder, with clients and internal colleagues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent IT skills required.
