Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied portfolio of contracts pertaining to operating an FPSO.
- Prioritise tender schedules and manage workload to meet business requirements.
- Support and advise the business with all commercial and contractual matters, from inception to conclusion (including tendering, negotiating, awarding, and managing contracts and associated purchase orders).
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements through good communication and collaboration.
- Liaise with engineers to negotiate and execute all Variation Orders (VO) with contractors.
- Analyse commodity spend information, conducting market analysis, and developing sourcing strategies.
- Maintain effective compliance with our Document Management System (BMS) in accordance with Company procedures and systems.
- Highlight any major commercial or contractual risks or issues to the relevant stakeholders
- Lead the tendering and evaluation process.
- Plan, conduct and conclude contract negotiations.
- Proactively manage and resolve claims ensuring a positive outcome.
- Assist Supply Chain Manager in identifying and implementing business improvements.
- Champion HSE and Process Safety in all procurement activities.
- Attend weekly/monthly meetings as required.
- Perform any other tasks as reasonably required.
