The post holder(s) will advice to the public and make financial assessment of applicant's needs and make decisions on and process claims relating to the Scottish Welfare Fund, including Crisis Grants, and Community Care Grants in line with legislation, guidance and local policy.

The post-holder(s) will deal with first point of contact enquiries and also deal with referred enquiries from Customer Advice and Support Service Advisors or other Council staff or third party agencies.
