JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a highly experienced, skilled, and enthusiastic Graphic Designer with a keen interest in print, packaging, and digital media for a Maternity cover position.

The role will involve working on various projects such as event collateral, packaging, architectural graphics, internal documents, and more. The designer will be responsible for researching, designing, and creating technical artworks while ensuring creativity, consistency, and quality. Collaboration and clear communication, project management, understanding of printing processes, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment are key to success.

Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer, this role requires close collaboration with the Burberry teams to interpret and implement the brand's design vision.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research, design, and develop concepts for multiple projects
  • Develop packaging and print collateral from concept to technical artwork
  • Create guideline documents
  • Present work for internal and external review and discussion
  • Collaborate with internal teams for project input
  • Communicate technical specifications to third-party agencies
  • Provide feedback on samples and final production
  • Make technical recommendations
  • Oversee print and product production

  • Consistently produce high-quality creative work aligned with the Burberry brand
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and creatives
  • Work efficiently on multiple briefs in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure timely delivery of creative projects

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years' experience in similar roles
  • Experience in luxury or fashion sectors preferred
  • Organized, with a focus on timely delivery and effective communication
  • Understanding of design processes and industrial production
  • Knowledge of materials and finishes
  • Proactive problem-solving approach
  • Familiarity with current design and marketing trends
  • Self-motivated and deadline-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask with attention to detail
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Confident in Keynote presentation software
  • Understanding of Figma is a plus
