Duties include:

  • Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and mainly limited company from the business records or business software.
  • Supervise book keeping assignments and getting involved with more complex assignments.
  • Process client records accurately using Xero, Sage and other software.
  • Dealing with some company secretarial matters such as confirmation statements and keeping the statutory records.
  • Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts.
  • Assisting with managing client expectations.
  • Assisting with general administrative duties which may include greeting clients, answering the telephone, supporting the team to meet deadlines as required.
  • Relevant degree or relevant experience.
  • A Levels.
GCSE's grades 9/A* - 4/C including Maths and English.
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, ideally IRIS, Xero, Sage
  • Experience with bookkeeping, VAT, accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and companies, basic tax
  • Good written and oral skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good time management
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Working within a team as part of a team
