There may be a TLR opportunity to lead a key stage within the department for a suitably experienced candidate, alternatively we also have pastoral TLR opportunities for Assistant Head of Year.

We have an exciting opportunity for an excellent teacher to join our highly committed, supportive and experienced Modern Languages Faculty to teach Spanish. This post is suitable for experienced practitioners or newly qualified professionals. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the age and ability range. Staff morale is high at our school; we have an excellent induction programme and a commitment to professional development for all staff. All teaching staff are provided with a laptop.

Our Modern Languages Faculty is well resourced and you will have access to a range of exciting activities and trips, for example our long standing exchange programme to a grammar school in Bavaria and study trip to Seville. The successful candidate will want to bring their passion and enthusiasm for languages to encourage, motivate and engage our students and continue to raise standards in this high performing faculty.

Our oversubscribed school once again achieved a 'GOOD' rating in its Ofsted inspection in June 2022 and we have a commitment to supporting students in developing as well-rounded individuals as well as achieving their academic potential.

Great Baddow High School is very well thought of locally. Our motto, which translates as 'always striving for higher things' encapsulates our vision for our students and staff.
