My client is currently seeking a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer to join their team in Great Yarmouth. As a vital member of the Engineering Department, you will play a key role in ensuring that all manufacturing and operational plans are met while upholding the highest standards of health and safety.

In this role, you will take ownership of health and safety for yourself and your colleagues, ensuring strict adherence to safety procedures and encouraging safe working practices. You'll be responsible for the maintenance of plant and equipment, utilising a mix of planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance, as well as engaging in project work.

Collaboration is a key aspect of this role as you will work closely with other members of the Engineering Department on projects, modifications, and problem-solving initiatives. Your contribution will be essential in maximising efficiencies and contributing to the continuous improvement and development of machinery and processes.

Key Experience:

  • Apprentice trained or time served with qualifications in both electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to adapt and work outside of your core skill set when required.
  • Proven track record in a similar role, with experience in FMCG and/or food production as a process or multi-skilled engineer.
