Operating vacuum tankers, blower tankers, and bulk tippers, we serve a broad client base across England and Wales, prioritizing exceptional service delivery to all customers.

The role:
Join Whites Recycling Ltd as a skilled Full-Time HGV Mechanic/HGV Technician/HGV Fitter at our primary depot in South Witham, Grantham, Lincolnshire. As an experienced professional, you will contribute to our busy HGV workshop.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform routine six-week inspections, maintenance, and repairs to DVSA standards.
  • Prepare MOT for Units and trailers.
  • Identify and fix faults.
  • Ensure adherence to Health & Safety Regulations and safe practices.
  • Respond to breakdowns with our fully equipped vehicle.
  • Attend training sessions to stay updated.
  • Complete job cards and service sheets.

Desirable attributes for the Role:

  • Hold Level 3 Maintenance & Repair Qualifications or possess time served experience with HGV Truck & Trailers.
  • Possess IRTEC Qualification.
  • Demonstrate a positive work attitude.
  • Ability to work in teams or independently.
  • HGV Driving licence.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday (specific hours to be discussed during the interview)
  • Weekend Rotations (one in every three)

Compensation:

  • Full-Time, Permanent role
  • Expected minimum of 45 hours per week
  • Hourly rates:
    • Monday – Friday: £18.65
    • Saturday-Sunday: £ £35 callout)
