About the Role:

We are seeking a committed and dedicated Lecturer Practitioner in Music Therapy to join the team within the Cambridge School of Creative Industries. You will teach and provide academic and clinical supervision in our Arts Therapies Team, based in a centre which houses a vibrant research, clinical and learning and teaching environment. Through our music therapy research activities, we are linked to universities across the world which allow opportunities for international research collaborations and teaching exchanges. We also collaborate with local NHS services, including with Cambridge and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust and East London NHS Foundation Trust.

You will have a Health and Care Professions Council registered Music Therapy Masters level qualification and extensive post qualification CPD. With proven teaching experience at Higher Education level in clinical, practical and research-linked approaches to Music Therapy, you will have specialist/expert practice in at least two areas of clinical Music Therapy, including experience of providing clinical supervision. With excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to think innovatively, you will play a role in the delivery of our MA Music Therapy course, whilst contributing to other courses, such as MA Dramatherapy, and collaborating with the wider team in the Cambridge School of Creative Industries.
