They are dedicated to delivering top-quality products and services to their clients. They are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Forklift Engineer to join a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training and Development: Participate in structured training programs to learn the fundamentals of forklift maintenance and repair.
  • Assisting Senior Engineers: Work under the supervision of experienced engineers to assist with routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of forklift models and materials handling equipment.
  • Learning and Development: Engage in hands-on learning and classroom training to gain a comprehensive understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Inspection and Testing: Assist in conducting inspections and safety checks to ensure all equipment meets regulatory standards.
  • Field Service Support: Accompany senior engineers on service calls to customer locations, gaining practical experience in providing on-site service and repairs.
  • Documentation: Help maintain accurate records of service and repair work, including parts used and work completed.
  • Customer Interaction: Learn to provide technical support and customer service, developing skills to communicate effectively with clients.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum of GCSEs in Mathematics, English, and Science (Grades 9-4/A -C).
  • Interest in Engineering/Mechanics: Demonstrated interest in engineering, mechanics, or a related field. Previous experience or coursework in these areas is a plus.
  • Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of mechanical principles and a strong willingness to learn.
  • Certifications: No specific certifications required, but an eagerness to pursue relevant qualifications is expected.
  • Driving License: Valid UK driving license or willingness to obtain one.
