The company are part of an international group that's seen excellent growth over the last 40 years to become the UK's leading supplier of specialist systems. Due to continued growth of their new department, they are looking for a new leader in their team.
Within this varied role, you will be trusted to lead a team of 8 operatives within the plastic extrusion department, whilst also being hands-on setting up and tweaking machines, material testing and working to tight tolerances. Due to the excellent industry training, any candidate with Machine Operating or Mechanical experience are encouraged to apply.
This is a fantastic and rare opportunity to join one of the UK's leading manufactures who will nurture your technical and career development in a key role with long weekends and overtime opportunities.
The Role:
- Leading a small team of operatives
- Setting up, tweaking and basic maintenance of extrusion machines
- Material testing
- Rotating 12 hour shifts giving you a 4 or 3 day weekend
The Person:
- Machine Operating experience or Mechanically-minded Engineer
- Injection Moulding, PVC / Plastic extrusion experience advantageous
- Lives commutable to Yatton
