Head Painter/Decorator

to join our Maintenance team on a full-time basis

When you join us...

We are seeking an experienced Head Painter and Decorator who can organise a small multi-skilled team of decorators on multiple jobs.
You will have great attention to detail, cleanliness, and high standard of craftmanship.
Working alongside the Maintenance Manager you will arrange materials required for the jobs.
You will be required to assist in the main hotel with painting and maintenance work, including preventative and reactive work within the hotel bedrooms and public areas.

You will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the hotel carrying out other ad hoc maintenance tasks.

You will be working within the multi-skilled Maintenance team and whilst this will be your main responsibility you will have the support of the rest of the team.

This is a full-time role, working 35 hours, five days per week, working Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4pm. Overtime and weekend work may be required from time to time.
Interview will include a work trial.
What we need from you...
Experience in all aspects of painting and decorating
Be competent at achieving a high standard of finish
Be able to work to high standards with minimal supervision
General Maintenance experience ideally within a customer service environment
Have excellent English language skills, verbal and written.
