We seek to appoint a Head of Geography who has
A passion for teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4 Strong subject knowledge and experience of raising attainment in languagesDrive and enthusiasm to lead and take responsibility for Teaching and Learning in the curriculum areaThe skills and focus to make contributions to the wider Academy Dedication to improving the opportunities for the pupils of Fulwood Academy by delivering innovative opportunities which go beyond the classroom curriculum We can offer you: A friendly and diverse pupil and staff community Outstanding facilities to support Teaching and Learning A broad and wide-ranging staff development programme A staff rewards package including benefits and discounts A strong behaviour system that supports Teaching and Learning The opportunity to join an academy with exciting plans for the future An environment focused on raising standards Opportunities for career development Salary: M1 – UPS3 per annum on the teacher's pay scale + TLR 7 We encourage prospective applicants to come and visit the academy and this can be during or outside of the academy day.
