Excellent opening to suit an experienced contentious probate lawyer to join this highly regarded boutique private client firm.


Our client has an exceptional reputation for private client and contentious probate and trusts work and is keen to appoint a partner to lead their successful contentious probate practice.


There is a superb platform at this firm for an experienced contentious probate lawyer to advise on a broad range of matters including all types of inheritance disputes including applications contesting the validity of wills, applications to remove Executors, claims for reasonable financial provision under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependents) Act 1975 and the rectification of Wills and breach of trust claims as well as contentious Court of Protection applications.


With strong technical skills in contentious private client work, you will also ideally have some supervisory or management experience with the ability to help develop junior lawyers.

The firm is keen to speak to existing partners who may be looking for a different platform, or you may be a senior associate or equivalent lawyer and looking for a first partnership opportunity.


With ideally a minimum of 6-8 years PQE+ you'll be acting on behalf of an established client base of private individuals and their families, landowners / landed estates and rural sector clients, as well as entrepreneurs, business people and other wealthy individuals.
