We have a great opportunity based at Central Bedfordshire College - Dunstable for a Prince's Trust Development Worker to become a key member of our Community department.


As a Prince's Trust Development Worker, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

  • Assisting with the recruitment and retention of Prince's Trust Team members
  • Identifying and supporting those with basic skills needs
  • Assisting with work placement activity subsequent to completion of main programme.

Our ideal candidates will have experience of dealing with challenging behaviour and experience of work placement opportunities and requirements, alongside the following qualifications:

  • English at GCSE grade A to C (or equivalent)
  • Willingness to achieve maths (if not already achieved) at GCSE grade A to C (or equivalent)

Contract Type - Bedford College Professional Services

  • 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE) / 52 weeks per year
  • 27 days per annum (plus public holidays)
