About the Job

Salary: £33,945 to £44,428 per annum (dependent on experience)

Working pattern: 37 hours per week

Contract type: Permanent

Location: Bridge House, Worthing (countywide travel and hybrid working)

In this role you will be required to undertake strengths-based assessments, applying relevant legislation and utilising Occupational Therapy skills and knowledge to develop and implement a plan of support, aimed at improving wellbeing and delivering outcomes for people in the community. You will be working within a supportive environment to apply your occupational therapy skills to develop and implement support plans, aimed at improving wellbeing and delivering outcomes, including utilising community assets, and ensuring that eligible needs are met.

You will be required to travel throughout the County including to locations that are not always easily accessible by public transport. The role will also involve complex physical interventions, including transporting, demonstrating, and using community equipment.

Qualifications and/or Experience:

  • Diploma/BSc Occupational Therapy or recognised equivalent Occupational Therapy Qualification.
  • Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration.
  • Experience with undertaking assessments and occupational therapy.
  • Experience working in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Experience of managing risk within a risk enablement approach
  • Good up-to-date working knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Desirable - ability to travel across the county independently, including to places not easily accessible by public transport. Pool cars and bikes are available.
