Pertemps Education are currently working with a primary school based in Hackney who are seeking a SEN specialist to join their school after the April half-term on a long-term contract until the end of the academic year with the option to extend further.
This role involves working in a autism provision unit with 6 students who have mild – high special needs. This includes, personal care, non-verbal needs and ADHD. Experience with PECS or Makaton would be helpful with your application but is not needed.
This primary school are looking to trials when the school comes back in the April half-term and for the right SEN specialist have them start ASAP.
