Duty Solicitor

A Legal 500 and Chambers UK recommended firm are currently recruiting a Duty Solicitor to join their team in their Bromley office.

Key Responsibilities:
Representing clients held at police stationsManaging a caseload of criminal defense cases across various offensesAdvocacy in Magistrates' Court, including summary trials (and Crown Court hearings if the candidate has Higher Rights)
The Ideal Candidate:
Solicitors with at least 1 year's PQE in criminal lawCrime duty accreditation preferred, but not mandatoryStrong communication and advocacy skillsProficiency in ITAbility to handle a demanding workload independently and within a team.Passion for publicly funded workAttention to detail and ability to work under pressure.Strong client and team building abilities.Benefits:
