We are seeking a highly motivated and well-organized individual to join an exciting new project. The consortium, Accelerating Research and Innovation for Advanced Therapies ), led by the University of Sheffield, is supported by the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) and brings together the leading expertise of 34 academic, non-profit and pharma organisations from across Europe and the US. The ARDAT consortium aims to help fill the knowledge gaps in how cell and gene therapies could potentially work, and to develop appropriate standards to aid researchers, developers, and regulators in accelerating effective and safe gene and cell therapies to benefit patients.
The project manager will be responsible for managing the project, liaising with the coordinator, the ARDAT Board, the consortium partners and the funder. The post holder will perform tasks related to all stages of the project management cycle, from monitoring of progress, supporting project meetings, organisation of the annual general assembly and the preparation of technical and financial reporting to the European Commission. They will also be expected to be involved in the governance of the ARDAT biobank, based at the University of Sheffield.
