About the roleWe are looking for a Lecturer in Early Years and/or Primary Education to join our supply team based in Plymouth. As a Lecturer you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:
- Preparing, delivering, assessing and verifying subject specialisms on a range of courses and levels.
- Supporting and guiding students to achieve success and realise their potential.
- Managing students' learning and provide a high-quality learning experience.
- Contributing pro-actively to developments in the Centre in curriculum development and innovative teaching.
- Participating in marketing and promotion activities to support a range of programmes and learning opportunities.
- Certificate in Education qualification ( or willingness to work towards)
- Level 4 (and above) qualifications in Early Years or Primary Education related studies
- Experience in the Early Years or Primary Education sector
- English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or willingness to achieve English and mathematics Level 2 within one year
- Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and work effectively to deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively and confidently face to face, on the telephone and in writing
