We are seeking an organised, enthusiastic individual to join our team to assist our Professional Responsibilities Theme Leads to deliver a successful programme to our Clinical Students. The Medical Professionalism Education Group sits in the Department of Public Health & Primary Care, School of Clinical Medicine.

Your role will be to co-ordinate the activities of the programmes of learning and assessment leading to the Clinical School Leadership Certificate and the Clinical School Teaching Certificate. This will include matching students to quality improvement leadership and teaching opportunities including the Associate Clinical Supervisors scheme (whereby senior students deliver near-peer teaching to small groups on new students); administrating the marking of coursework submissions; distributing teaching resources and acting as first point of contact for internal and external queries relating to the Leadership and Teaching Certificates.

You will be working alongside our Professionalism (Reflective Practice) administrator and our Professionalism (Workshops) administrator and reporting to the Theme Leads for Clinical Leadership and Reflection, Learning & Teaching.

You will be educated to A-level standard and have relevant experience of managing teaching courses preferably within a University environment, along with experience of working on your own initiative. You will be able to think flexibly and creatively and problem solve and must be confident using word processing, spreadsheet, powerpoint, email and database applications. You will have excellent time management and interpersonal skills and be able to prioritise your workload effectively.

The funds for this post are available for 12 months initially from commencement in post, renewable subject to review.

This is a full-time position (we welcome applications of no less than 0.8 FTE per week)
