The Role

To analyse Castore's company processes and make suggestions on how to improve them, specifically within the Logistics function. Internally working with the Operations and Supply Chain teams in recognising opportunities, making and implementing changes and sustaining improvements. Externally working with 3PL partners globally to; standardise processes, drive compliance, remove waste, reduce cost and improve customer satisfaction.

The Continuous Improvement Manager will need to have a passion for not being satisfied with the status quo. Working continuously to improve processes and drive Castore's ethos 'Better Never Stops'.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed analysis of the current situation that accurately describes the issues
  • Evaluating and prioritising potential improvements based on gains and required effort
  • Accurately analysing options including impact and feasibility
  • Establishing criteria for a project's success, including constraints and limitations
  • Identify available resources (for example; people, materials and finances)
  • Identifying intervention priorities and indicators
  • Planning, facilitating, and executing continuous improvement events using Lean Six Sigma tools
  • Establish a clear and well-articulated implementation plan
  • Appropriately implementing principles of governance
  • Clearly defining methodology
