This is a unique and really important role which identifies, develops and delivers operational solutions by liaising with teams that design, build and operate the railway. The TransPennine Route Upgrade (TRU) is a programme of enhancement works to the railway network in the North of England, It is a consolidated programme of improvements and upgrades between Manchester Victoria & York via Stalybridge which will provide the capability to support future service aspirations on the route
TransPennine Express is a delivery partner in the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) programme and this role will require close working with Network Rail and Alliance Partners, other operators and across the business to develop safe and highly operable infrastructure change schemes. As part of the Delivery Partnership within the Major Projects Directorate, we are looking for an individual who is passionate about standards, processes and compliances, and who understands the principles and risks associated. There will be a requirement for applicants to demonstrate underpinning knowledge and previous experience in projects of a similar nature.
The Lead Station Infrastructure Interface Manager will play a critical role in ensuring seamless communication between different internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include; leading the team of Station Infrastructure Interface Managers; managing projects; being the focal point of contact; troubleshooting incidents; and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
