INTERIM VALUATION/DISPOSALS SURVEYOR

SUFFOLK

Park Avenue are working on behalf of a Local Authority in Suffolk who require an Interim Valuation and Disposals Surveyor to join their team on an initial 6 month contract.

The role will require you to focus on the valuation and disposal negotiation of surplus assets. You'll follow their newly written disposal programme, and generate income for the Council. This has been written by the Interim Head of Property, who is responsible for Estates and FM, and your line manager. You'll also support the Estates team by being an experienced and knowledgeable Surveyor, who is MRICS and a Registered Valuer.

The portfolio is made up of Head Office premises, important income producing assets, landmark buildings across the Borough, retail parades, industrial unit, development land and growth opportunities and miscellaneous land and assets including Churches, the River Orwell and woodland.

Your contract would be an initial 6 months, with the potential for an extension. You can work on a hybrid basis, being in the offices 2 days per week in the first instance, and then once you know the team and assets, you can WFH more.

This role requires previous public sector experience and MRICS.
