Our Bright Flex team blend the convenience of bank/locum/agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee – giving people within this team the flexibility to work when and where they want, offering an hourly rate from £11.15 per hour for unqualified staff, £11.45 for L2 qualified staff and £11.89 for L3+ qualified staff

What you'll be doing
  • Support Nursery colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS, by engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones
  • Supervise the children throughout the day, ensuring their safety
  • Work as part of a larger team, to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands i.e. hygiene standards and room preparation
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times
  • Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day-to-day basis

What we're looking for

  • Full and Relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification (desirable)
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable – embracing working cultures in different nurseries

This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
