The Role

We are seeking a highly ambitious and committed Geography Teacher to join the department from September 2024.

The successful candidate will contribute to the direction for teaching, learning and assessment in Geography, in-line with the whole-school pedagogical strategy of Learning for Mastery, to set the highest expectations and ensure that all students not only achieve excellent outcomes but flourish within an environment of nurture.

Opportunities for departmental and whole school responsibilities will provide excellent experience for a successful candidate and this role comes with the possibility of Head of Year responsibilities.

Our School

Canary Wharf College Crossharbour has the highest ambitions for young people in our community on the Isle of Dogs and across the wider borough of Tower Hamlets. We opened in 2016 at the top of one of our primary schools and moved into a new interim purpose-built site with excellent facilities in September 2018. As of September 2022, the school is at capacity in its current site with 450 students from Years 7-11.
