Due to further expansion across the Trust and an increase in student numbers, South Lincolnshire Academies Trust is seeking to appoint inspirational, a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of Art & Design to be based at Bourne Academy. The successful candidate will teach across the age range, including examination groups.

The Department for Education have ranked South Lincolnshire Academies Trust as the 12th top performing Trust in the whole of England out of 213 Multi Academy Trusts with three or more schools.

All students study Art and Design in Year 7, 8 and 9 for one hour. In Year 10 students can select to study general Art and Design or specialise in 2D or 3D Design, increasing study to three hours per week.

The successful candidate will have:

Qualified teacher status;The ability to teach BTEC Art & Design up to KS4;The opportunity to teach BTEC Art & Design at KS5;The ability to motivate students and achieve excellent results;Excellent organisational and ICT skills;Outstanding career progression opportunities;An awareness of effective assessment and use of data to track student progress;The capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team;A passion for the subject and the ability to share this with young people.
