We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Food Technology teacher and subject lead, with experience of teaching to GCSE. You will be able to deliver inspirational lessons, be willing to support students outside of the classroom and contribute to the Catholic ethos of the school. The position is offered on a one year fixed term contract starting September 2024. Previous applicants need not apply.

Food Technology at KS3 centres on food safety, nutrition and science, as well as developing a range of practical skills. At KS4, students have the opportunity to further their knowledge with a GCSE in Food Preparation & Nutrition or a BTEC Level 2 qualification in Home Cooking Skills.

We require someone with a strong commitment to teaching and learning as well as a creative and positive approach both in and out of the classroom. If you are an exceptional teacher, who can enthuse students with your own passion for learning, then we would love to hear from you.

All meetings, Parents' and Open Events happen on a Thursday and staff are free to leave the site earlier on all other evenings, providing standards of marking and preparation are maintained.
