Job Description

We're currently looking to hire a Solutions Strategy Associate to join Legal and General Investment Management.

DC and Retail is an important and growing business for Solutions and for Legal and General Investment Management (LGIM), the successful individual will support the team in a variety of activities and produce accurate, timely and well presented work to support our clients and deliver great outcomes

What you'll be doing
Being a point of contact for technical specific client and consultant enquiries, liaising between fund management and distribution activitiesAssisting in the production of new business presentations and the supporting materials, such as RFPs, fund factsheets and other marketing collateralSupporting the team with running the analytics to fulfil quarterly and adhoc collateral requirementsSupporting the team with presentations to a range of clients, potential clients, consultants and intermediariesBeing able to communicate complex analysis and sophisticated ideas in a concise and understandable fashion, both externally and internally, both in writing and in personBuilding strong internal relationships to achieve broader and better product knowledge and to pull together the 'best of LGIM' for our clientsHaving strong prioritisation skills in order to deliver on multiple workstreams at the same timeProviding a highly analytical approach to all work undertaken with a high level of accuracyPersonally practice LGIM cultural values and behaviours, ensuring the maintenance of a true OneLGIM culture and helping make LGIM a business that all can be proud to work for and would recommend to others
Qualifications
Demonstrate strong asset management knowledge and experience as well as knowledge of the regulatory and legislative landscape as it relates to Retail and DC pension schemesActuarial or equivalent investments technical background desirableYou'll have strong delivery skills and look to manage and leverage key relationships within Investments, Distribution, the wider DC and Workplace teams and Legal and General Retirement (LGR) in order to help grow this rapidly changing businessStrong academic/professional qualifications background and/or experience gained in similar positionsDemonstrate sound, proven business and commercial judgement skillsStrong and credible external profile amongst investment consultants, clients and market participantsDemonstrate the ability to engage and motivate others as well as being able to clearly articulate thoughts and ideas in a logical manner
