We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to join our client's team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute individual who thrives on building and nurturing relationships while driving business growth.

What you will be doing?

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the logistics, freight, and distribution sectors
  • Conduct thorough analysis of client needs and preferences, and propose tailored solutions from our full range of services
  • Identify opportunities for business expansion within existing accounts and actively pursue strategies for growth
  • Provide value-added services to customers, including reviewing pricing structures and ensuring optimal margins
  • Drive revenue growth and maintain healthy gross profit margins within assigned key accounts
  • Lead and support customer satisfaction initiatives to ensure high levels of client retention and loyalty
  • Generate regular reports on customer activity, sales performance, and revenue forecasts
  • Implement effective sales strategies to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets

Who we are looking for?

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the logistics, freight, or distribution sectors is essential
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Results-driven mindset, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and exceeding targets
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, with a willingness to travel extensively to visit key customers
  • Proficiency in generating and analysing sales reports and forecasts
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively (approximately 80% of the time)
