Senior Digital Product Owner

Your role

As a Senior Digital Product Owner at RWE Offshore Wind, a global leader in the Offshore Wind industry, you will be responsible for managing a digital product that supports our Operations and Maintenance activities. You will join the Digital Products team at the intersection of business operations and digital solutions and be part of a fast-growing international organization that offers a lot of potential for personal development. You will work with a team of enthusiastic digital experts and collaborate with colleagues on site to effectively oversee the digital product portfolio across the Offshore fleet.

Your future plans

  • As Senior Digital Product Owner SAP MM (d/f/m), you work with Subject Matter Experts (e.g. Performance Managers) and Key Users within our Material Management community to understand data and product flow requirements for improved logistics processes and configure the systems accordingly
  • Create and prioritize the product backlog and ensure that it aligns with the user needs, process requirements and business aims, while striving for a modern user interface and integration of best practices
  • Take full ownership for the implementation and proper support for SAP MM, partnering with central IT teams and gathering regular feedback from the Key Users
  • Ensure successful product launch and updates by providing or arranging training during initial roll-out (testing and feasibility check) and support afterwards for incidents resolution, to secure adoption and success
  • Create and monitor product KPIs, ensuring their visibility on dashboards in close collaboration with Performance Managers and Key Users
  • You are the deputy owner of the Key User community and support the community hand in hand with the Performance Manager
  • You are coordinating with other digital product owners for upgrades and overarching product changes to ensure smooth flow of data between product modules and business processes
  • Moreover you own the authorization concept for SAP MM ensuring alignment with other business units and its implementation in product modules

Your profile

  • You have a degree in engineering, science, IT or business and several years of professional experience in operations related SAP modules, preferrable SAP Material Management
  • Furthermore, you score points with your thorough understanding of logistics processes in Renewables operations
  • Thanks to your solid experience in product ownership or a related role you are able to create, maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on business value. You are familiar with writing user stories and turning them into clear and actionable items for implementation and review
  • Your experience also includes the usage of different IT systems & tools as well as digital collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Airtable or Mural
  • You have profound project management, presentation, facilitation, communication and stakeholder management skills. Moreover, you are confident in exploring new complex domains and have very good technical and conceptual abilities
  • Others describe you as a person with fast comprehension, high motivation, self-drive and curiosity. You have potential to grow
  • You enjoy working in an international environment in which you use your fluent English skills on a daily business and travel up to 50% to our Offshore Sites - currently mainly within UK and Central Europe
  • Fluent German language skills as well as knowledge and hands-on experience in the Offshore Wind industry or similar are a welcome plus

Pay range: The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $min - $max . The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations.
