Located in the beautiful Dorset countryside, Clayesmore is a well-established boarding and day school with a warm and happy atmosphere, and is well known for its excellence in pastoral care.

Boarding is a major part of Clayesmore School where we provide a nurturing and caring home away from home. Our house staff are approachable, positive and warm people who are able to establish a healthy rapport with pupils, staff and parents.

This is a senior boarding position which can provide excellent experience on a career path into a senior leadership position in the future. It is essential for the successful candidate to have strong leadership skills and pastoral experience with pupils aged 13 to 18, preferably gained within a boarding environment.

Our houseparents have a reduced timetabled teaching role within the school. Any subject and contribution to the wider life of the school will be considered during the recruitment process.
