Are you an experienced Building Safety professional looking for an exciting interim opportunity in Hampshire? We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Interim Building Safety Manager. This role presents a unique chance to contribute to the safety and well-being of our community while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building Safety Oversight: Monitor and manage compliance with building safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments of buildings to identify potential safety hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to building safety.
- Incident Response: Develop and implement effective incident response plans, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of safety concerns.
- Training and Education: Provide training and guidance to staff and stakeholders on building safety best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of building safety inspections, incidents, and compliance activities.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports for senior management, summarizing building safety performance and compliance status.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in building safety management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of building safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and implement effective mitigation measures.
- Previous experience in incident response and crisis management.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools for documentation and reporting.
