The Role

As our new Creative Teacher you will deliver a range of vocational subjects, alongside GCSE Art. Lessons are taught both in small groups and on a one to one basis. You will be teaching in our Hubs, specially designed learning spaces, with a range of modern facilities, alongside a team of passionate teaching staff, benefitting from our friendly and supportive culture. We work with students of all ages and abilities, so being adaptable and dynamic is a must. This role is perfect for someone with creative flair and the ability to bring lessons alive in original and exciting ways.

Essential

An honours degree or equivalent professional qualification (QTS is not essential). Experience working with young people in an educational setting. An A-Level (or equivalent) in Art, Design or a Creative subject.The ability to teach confidently and creatively up to KS4 level. From £27,669.29 FTE per annum

Hours:

Monday - Wednesday - 8.30am - 4.30pm

Thursday - 8.30am - 6.00pm (we do training every Thursday afternoon)

Friday - 8.30am - 4.00pm

Training:

One off induction day am - 4.00pm

Five Tuesday afternoon induction training sessions pm

Ongoing professional development on Thursday afternoons pm

Training is paid at £12.50p/h. You will be teaching and training simultaneously.
