Science Teacher – Physics and Engineering Specialist

Required for September 2024

Following on from the appointment of the Director of Science at Goffs Academy, we are excited to announce a new position in the department for a dynamic Science specialist with experience in supporting outstanding students with Physics and Engineering applications and related careers, including apprenticeships in the engineering industry.

The position will start in September 2024; however, we will be flexible for the right candidate. The successful candidate for this position:

Will have a passion for learning and teaching and igniting curiosity for science in young people.Has ideas for a holistic, through-school programme to encourage and support students into Physics and Engineering roles.Believes in the right of every student to fulfil their potential and find joy in the natural world.Understands the power of partnerships across departments and beyond the school gate in inspiring our future generations.Is or has the potential to be an outstanding practitioner, with the energy and ideas to inspire, motivate and challenge students.Is looking to work as a team to further develop the department to become a centre of excellence within the school.
