A manufacturing business based in Malton is currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Controller to join their team. A salary of up to 28,000 is on offer for the right candidate, alongside 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), life assurance, and further benefits.

This role would be excellent for an experienced Credit Controller or Sales Ledger Clerk looking to progress or, someone who is looking to begin a career in finance who is confident and organised, with excellent time management skills.

Reporting into the Accounts Receivable Manager, the successful Accounts Receivable Controller will be responsible for:
  • Processing invoices efficiently, whilst being thorough and checking that all the information has been authorised.
  • Taking phone calls from suppliers and other company sites, and upholding a polite and courteous manner.
  • Focus and ambition to work towards goals and deadlines.
  • Sorting the post, reconciling statements and answering supplier and site queries.
  • Communication with customers relating to their account status and maintain a full understanding of changes to the accounts to ensure continuation of payment from the customer.
  • Ensure compliance with local legislation and regulatory requirements relating to business activities in every country where we are active.
  • Other ad hoc duties, as required.
To be successful in this Accounts Receivable Controller role, you will ideally have/be:
  • Experience in a similar Sales Ledger, Credit Controller or Accounts Receivable Controller role
  • Personable, friendly and confident
  • Organised and have excellent time management skills
  • Experience in a fast-paced, large business and Finance Team
  • Have experience using software such as SAP, Xero, SAGE, Quickbooks or similar
We are keen to speak with individuals who have previous experience in an Accounts Receivable Controller, Credit Controller or Sales Ledger Clerk role and are looking for a new challenge with a successful, growing business. You may also be a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable Clerk seeking a new role, as well as an Accounts Admin, Accounts Assistant, Finance Officer, Finance Administrator or similar.

This role is easily commutable from surrounding areas such as Malton, Norton, Pickering, Scarborough and York. There is also car parking on site for this role.
