Our client is looking to recruit a Construction Partner to join a small but growing team in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large international law firm and help further develop a construction practice from Yorkshire.

Client Details

Our client is a large international law firm who have a large office in Leeds. They have a highly rated national Construction practice who advise contractors and developers across the UK. The team deal with contentious and non-contentious work and they are keen to hire a non contentious lawyer to work from Leeds.

Description

The Construction Partner will pick up a range of responsibilities including;

  • Working closely with the existing Partner in Leeds to develop a local construction team
  • Taking the lead on non contentious work
  • Supporting the national Construction practice
  • Developing the non contentious offering from Yorkshire
  • Bringing and developing existing clients / contacts
  • Supporting junior lawyers in the team

Profile

The successful Construction Partner should have:

  • A track record dealing with construction law and ideally non contentious work
  • Already be working as a Legal Director or Partner
  • Have strong contacts in the construction industry
  • Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate the team.
  • Ties to the Leeds area

Job Offer

  • An estimated salary range of £150,000 to £165,000.
  • Full equity on offer.
