Description

  • Develop, update, and document accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with UK and US GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor changes in accounting standards, assess their impact, and recommend necessary updates.
  • Ensure accurate recognition and disclosure of financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Review financial statements and disclosures for compliance with accounting policies and standards.
  • Research and analyse complex accounting issues, providing guidance to the finance management team.
  • Collaborate on audit activities and deliver training on accounting policies to finance and non-finance staff.
  • Enhance accounting processes, controls, and systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

Profile

  • Extensive experience in US GAAP and application to financial reporting and transactions
  • Experience within a publicly traded company or public accounting firm.
  • Qualified Accountant
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex processes and identify policy/control deficiencies

Job Offer

£70k - £90k dependent on experience

10% annual bonus

Hybrid working - as much or as little time spent in the office - fully remote if desired
