We are looking for a committed and talented Science-based Learning Mentor to join our team.

We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated Science Learning Mentor to work primarily with the Science department throughout our secondary academy, supporting the social, emotional and mental health well-being of our pupils. Your role will include one-to-one and small group mentoring and support to improve academic progress and learning, including delivering a range of teaching and learning interventions to targeted pupils.

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience of working with children & families in overcoming barriers to learningWork closely with staff and outside agencies to ensure children at Nottingham Academy have excellent provisionPromote self-esteem, confidence and help children to become emotionally healthyHave high expectations of themselves, striving for the best in everything they doBe an enthusiastic, committed and ambitious team player; open to learning and professional developmentAbout us
