The Consumer Finance Analyst plays an integral part in driving commercial delivery of the Consumer Performance Unit (CPU). Providing insightful and effective support to the Consumer Senior Finance Business Partner, this role is responsible for providing value-adding reporting and management information, trend analysis, and robust commercial modelling to support investment proposals. The Consumer Commercial Finance team plays an integral role in the CPU, sitting at the forefront of decision making, shaping future growth and direction. The role requires a deep understanding of the relevant commercial drivers and a passion to consistently improve and deliver a great customer experience.

You'll help us make health happen through:
  • Owning the ongoing maintenance, development and continual improvement of weekly and monthly segment performance reporting.
  • Ensuring the quality, accuracy and depth of data analysis is maintained to the highest standard to enable fact-based, insightful decision making.
  • Ensuring that any risks to achievement of business targets are understood, addressed and escalated where appropriate.
  • Supporting the Senior Finance Business Partner in providing financial modelling and business evaluation of new products and propositions, improving commercial understanding on price, mix and value.
  • Building influential relationships with a variety of business stakeholders.
  • Being recognised as offering valuable, insightful and forward looking financial challenge and support.
  • Establishing best practice for analytics and ensure this is shared and promoted across Finance.
Key Skills needed for this role:
  • Part qualified accountant or relevant experience
  • High energy problem solver with drive and ability to work under pressure
  • Analytical and numerate
  • Advanced PC skills including Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to champion continuous improvement and customer focus
  • Well organised, flexible and adaptable
  • Team orientated
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
