Key responsibilities:
Reporting to the HLTA or SLT link.
Work with individuals or small groups of pupils in the classroom under the direct supervision of teaching staffSupervise and provide particular support for pupils, including those with special needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activitiesSupport pupils to understand instructions and support independent learningAssist with the implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour plans and Personal Care programs under the supervision and guidance of teaching staffEstablish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs For a full description of the role, see the job description and job specification. Salary - SCP 2 - 4 £17, £17, FTE: £22,366 - £23, hours per week, 39 weeks per year Qualifications and Skills: GCSE Maths and English minimum grade 4 or equivalentTA1 qualification or relevant experienceAbility to work with an individual child or with a group Ability to model acceptable behaviours and encourage good social skills What are we about?
