Waingels, a popular 11-18 school where students achieved above national average in all measures and was identified as "continuing to be good" in a recent OFSTED inspection, is seeking to appoint a second in department for MFL, leading on all aspects of Spanish teaching from KS3-5, due to the current post holder relocating. The ability to teach Spanish to A-Level is essential for this role.

This is a key role within the school and would be ideal for an experienced practitioner who already has experience of a subject leadership position or is seeking their first TLR in a subject setting.

We would also consider applications from recently qualified teachers to teach Spanish, without the TLR and associated responsibilities.

The successful candidate will lead will work closely with the Head of Subject for MFL, leading on all aspects of Spanish teaching across the department and making a significant contribution to this highly successful department and promoting languages in the school and local community.
