The successful candidate will be pivotal in staying abreast of legal and market developments within the investment funds sector. You will work closely with partners to identify the firm's training needs, develop effective training programs, prepare business development presentations, and provide insightful reports that influence decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Market and Legal Insight: Monitor developments in the private investment funds sector to ensure the firm's practices are up-to-date and aligned with industry standards.
- Training and Development: Collaborate with partners to assess and address the team's training needs; design and deliver comprehensive legal training to enhance team capabilities.
- Business Development Support: Develop and prepare impactful presentations and pitch decks for both current clients and prospects to support the firm's business development efforts.
- Reporting and Knowledge Management: Generate essential reports and maintain a proactive approach in managing and disseminating knowledge within the team.
Key Requirements Include:- Professional Experience: Must have a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience as a private investment funds lawyer.
- Communication and Presentation: Possess excellent presenting, writing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively and share knowledge.
- Interpersonal and Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal skills required to train and motivate team members effectively.
- Analytical and Organisational Skills: Strong organisational, multitasking, and analytical abilities, with a proven track record of managing tight deadlines and creating a positive training environment.
- Personal Attributes: Looking for an enthusiastic, driven, and ambitious candidate with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to exercise sound judgment.
