ESL Kindergarten Teacher

Tes is supporting the appointment of a ESL Kindergarten Teacher to join a School based in Shanghai.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver interactive English language lessons tailored to the needs and interests of kindergarten students.

Implement a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

Create a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere conducive to language acquisition and personal growth.

Utilize age-appropriate resources and materials to enhance learning experiences.

Foster effective communication and collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues.

Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.

Encourage creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking through hands-on activities and interactive learning experiences.

Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment that promotes respect and inclusivity.

Stay updated on best practices in ESL education and participate in professional development opportunities.

Embrace cultural diversity and celebrate the unique backgrounds and perspectives of each student.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or related field.

TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification preferred.

Experience working with young learners, particularly in an ESL/EFL setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for teaching and nurturing young children.

Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic and multicultural environment
